We took a weekend trip to KC to visit family and attend Riley's baptism. Riley is the daughter of good friends Dave and Lisa. Chris is Riley's godfather so it was a must to witness the little cutie's baptism. We were a little nervous about the travel since it would be Grady's first plane ride! We are happy to report that it went great! Grady slept for both the arrival and return flight. I took the sling which he just loves. He was very happy to relax in the sling for the duration of both flights. He briefly woke up on both flights but had very little fussing.
We had a wonderful visit. Grady loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa in KC. The only setback to the trip was Grady's fussiness and lack of sleeping. Prior to the trip we were starting to make progress in terms of Grady sleeping a little more at night. Then we got to KC and he was just awful. We did not get much sleep. Now that we are back home things are improving once again...yea!!
