I have been having Doctor visits now every two weeks. The visits are about ten minutes. I walk in step on the scale (my favorite part), give a urine sample, have my blood pressure taken, they measure my belly, and then listen to Grady's heartbeat. I went in for one of these standard appointments yesterday morning and when I stepped on the scale fearing the worst it actually turns out I had lost a half pound since my last visit. I have been eating regularly and in fact felt I have been stuffing my face recently so I am not sure how I managed to lose a half pound. The Doctor was a little concerned so he set us up for an ultra sound to make sure Grady's weight is ok and that no fluid has been lost. I was not really worried about the teeny bit of weight loss because I certainly do not see or feel that loss anywhere. I mean a half pound could be a difference in my clothing or the scale could have been off. At least we got another ultra sound out of it and got to check in on Grady again! I am happy to report that things are going well in there and Grady weighs in at 4 lbs. The half pound weight loss will just have to remain a mystery. Also a mystery is who he is getting such large feet from?! I think it may just be my finger toes he has inherited. It is also confirmed that he has really chubby cheeks and perhaps has his father's scowl. Think Grady will be a mini Chris for sure!
